Lindsey Horvath, LMSW
Lindsey earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from SCSU in 2020. Throughout her career, she has put her skills to use in special education (8yrs), residential treatment and individual therapy (3yrs). She is currently employed by a CT high school as a School Social Worker and likes to spend her free time cooking, traveling and making memories with friends and family. Lindsey met Jenn and Derek in 2012 and is proud to be a part of Walk for Derek, and to support the amazing work that Jenn has done and continues to do to spread awareness and create impactful change in the lives of so many.
Taylor Kelley
Kelly Martoni, BCBA
Kelly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Kelly received her Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Kaplan University and her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport. Kelly has over 25 years of experience working with children and adults with diverse needs. Kelly has consulted in schools, in home settings, and adult DDS residential services. Kelly is currently employed as a BCBA for Plymouth Public Schools, and Connecticut Behavioral Health. Kelly resides in Naugatuck, CT. Kelly met Jen and Derek in 2017 and is thrilled to be a part of Walk with Derek!
Kirstin McKusick
I have my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a certified Regular Education and Special Education teacher. I have my masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I have 1 daughter and 4 dogs
Steven L. Rubin
Steven is a Certified Elder Law Attorney from the National Elder Law Foundation, the current President of CTNAELA and a former board member of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association. A neurodiversity advocate, special needs planner and advocate. He has a personal connection to the issues his clients face, having been a caregiver, advocate, provider, and concerned loved one for his mother who was diagnosed with ALS while he was in law school. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and from Widener University School of Law in Pennsylvania. He has passed the Bar in Connecticut, New York, and Florida and is a member of various professional organizations. Attorney Rubin's practice focuses on elder law, special needs planning, estate planning, estate administration and probate, Title XIX (Medicaid) planning and eligibility, Life Care Planning, business continuation, disability and trust planning and administration, and related tax matters.
